Source of Jerusalem-area smoke: Fire at a nearby PA landfill

A fire broke out, Tuesday, at a landfill in the area of the Palestinian Authority town Ar-Ram next to the northern Jerusalem neighborhood of Neve Yaakov.

Residents reported thick black smoke throughout Jerusalem from the northeast of the capital.
