Chief Justice Esther Hayut participated in the 25th Conference of the Israel-Germany Jurists Association in Nuremberg.
Hayut told the gathering, "Judicial independence is one of the cornerstones of any democratic regime and guarantees that the individual will have an address to turn to for the protection of his rights."
