    Shekel strengthened in the first quarter

    The Bank of Israel reported, Monday, that the shekel strengthened by approximately 3.1 percent against the United States dollar and by five percent against the Euro.

    The shekel strengthened by about 3.5 percent against the currencies of Israel's main trading partners. The dollar strengthened by approximately two percent against the Euro but weakened by 1.9 percent against the British pound.
