Sources in the Labor Party have expressed criticism of how it was decided to hold primaries in November, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.
Member of Knesset Amir Peretz and Party Secretary Eran Hermoni claimed that in the party's situation there was no point in holding primaries, and that it would be better right now to appoint a chairman who would not be a candidate for prime minister, but would rehabilitate the party.
