Attorney Itamar Ben-Gvir responded to the report that Netanyahu intends to promote in the next Knesset a bill that will deprive the Supreme Court of the authority to intervene in administrative decisions of the government, the ministers or the Knesset.
"This is a real rebellion, the first task of the justice minister and the public security minister will be to combat the phenomenon in which officials seek to circumvent the voter order and manage the state.
Statements such as not allowing the Knesset to pass laws and calling on the judges to revolt may terrorize the next justice minister to take office. Such statements are a violation of the law and even if it is an unknown legal official the police should investigate and exhaust the law so that the rule of law will not become the 'rule of joke.' In a democracy, the public chooses and not the bureaucracy."
