The Nature and National Parks Authority said, Sunday that two rare griffon vultures from the Golan Heights are recovering, following a poisoning discovered on Friday.
Vulture T72, which received emergency treatment in the field and was sent to the wildlife hospital at the Ramat Gan Safari park has recovered and is in very good condition. It is expected to return to nature in the coming days. Another vulture, which was examined in the area and clearly not affected by the poisoning, returned that same day to his area of residence in Gamla. According to surveillance data, he was active and in good condition.
