Police from the Lahav 433 unit arrested a 32-year-old Jerusalem resident suspected of committing alleged sexual offenses on the Internet, including sexual harassment, indecent assault, and using a minor's body for obscene publicity, and other offenses.
The suspect is being questioned and will be brought to the Magistrate's Court in Rishon Lezion tomorrow, and the police will request an extension of his remand according to the needs of the investigation.
"The Israel Police will continue to fight resolutely against the grave phenomenon of sexual abuse of minors through the Internet and will use all the means at its disposal to prosecute offenders who harm the privacy of minors and in general, and calls on the public to contact the 105 Complaints Center hotline for reporting offenses against minors on the Internet," the police said.
