Attorney Adi Keidar of the Honenu organization representing the minor in the Duma murder case responded to the plea bargain to be signed with him.

"The indictment and plea bargain filed today are the result of a precedent-setting decision of the court that ruled out the confessions and held that the confessions were taken from the defendant via severe violence, and the court harshly criticized the State Prosecutor's Office and the Shin Bet.

"In the end, someone who looks at the indictment sees this is a totally different indictment, when there is no harm to a hair on anyone's head, and he is completely dissociated from the murder in Duma. After three-and-a-half years it's time for the defendant to try to rehabilitate, and we hope that when the time comes, the defendant will be able to share with you the horrors he underwent during GSS interrogations."
