The University of Haifa will award Supreme Court Justice (ret.) Dalia Dorner with an honorary doctorate "in recognition of her many years of activity and legal contribution".
The title will be awarded as part of the events of the 47th Board of Governors of the University. "Throughout her years as a judge, Justice Dorner has known in her various rulings to assign a place of respect for human rights and the rights of the weak in society, and this out of her personal commitment to justice," said the President of Haifa University Prof. Ron Rubin.
