In a post on Twitter, MK Esawi Frej attacked the government over violence in the Arab community, writing:
"The funeral of Taufik Zohar, a well-known musician in Nazareth who was murdered by a "mistaken" bullet, took place on Tuesday, while he was walking with his granddaughter on the main street of his city. His death did not make headlines, because Arabs are already dead. The state abandoned Arab society to drown in violence. But we should not be surprised if there are those who decide to do something and fight for themselves with violence."
