Miriam Motzen, the mother of soldier Avriami Motzen, who died in the 1982 Lebanon War, passed away.
The brother of the fallen is world-renowned cantor Yaakov Motzen, to distinguish for long life.
In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family after his death, his commander noted that Avraham "was, according to his commanders and comrades, a good-hearted, considerate, sociable, cheerful friend, beloved to his friends and active in every event."
