In a post on Twitter, MK Yari Lapid (Blue & White) responded to MK Betzalel Smotriche's (United Right) attack on his comments regarding yeshiva students, writing:
"Smotrich, on Memorial Day, I suggest that you protect those who enlist in the IDF, not those you help avoid draft. Beyond that, I do not take orders from you, but you can always continue to give instructions to the prime minister that you are extorting in return for immunity from prison."
