In a post on Twitter outgoing Minister of Economics, Eli Cohen (Kulanu) talked about Israel's rise on the OECD's regulation index, writing:
"Bureaucracy and regulation -OUT Competition and free market - IN We jumped in the OECD regulation index from 33 (one to the last) to 17th place. A 16 place leap! An important achievement that will help businesses and open the markets to the benefit of consumers. We will continue to move the Israeli economy forward. Strong Economy = Strong Country"
