The Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi David Lau, referred to the end of the fighting in Gaza:
"Where were we 70 years ago and where are we today? One can argue about the decisions, one can say we need to strike them harder, we need to strive for peace - all those arguments on the political level are a privilege," he said in an interview with Kan.
