Chairman of the Labor Party, MK Avi Gabbay, welcomed the cease-fire and sent condolences to the families of those killed and wishes for recovery.
"After 20 years Netanyahu has strengthened Hamas - the release of Yassin, the Shalit deal, Qatari money, and more. This year he also started to strengthen the Islamic Jihad that sat for negotiations in Cairo as an equal partner. Without a long-term political solution, the next round is only a matter of time," he said.
