Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev, who also serves as chair of the Ministerial Committee on Ceremonies and Symbols, appointed retired judge Nehama Monitz this morning to head the public committee that will set criteria for distributing tickets to state ceremonies, including the Torch Ceremony.
The letter of appointment determines the committee will submit its conclusions by September 1, 2019, with the possibility of an additional extension of three months.
