Chairman Benny Gantz of the Blue and White Party has told its Knesset faction, "We will take care to fortify Israeli democracy and we will not allow the Knesset to become a haven for lawbreakers."
Gantz also said, "The Knesset is the home of Israeli democracy and it is a great honor to belong to it, and we will also make sure that it is a great honor to belong to it. We are proud that we have taken upon ourselves this task and are proud to lead it from the perspective of the opposition."
