Chairman Shlomo Ne’eman of the Gush Etzion Regional Council has praised the announcement that government grants would be issued to business owners in order to build hotels in Judea and Samaria. Ne'eman said the decision will "strengthen tourism in in our area by supporting the establishment of overnight accommodations, so that more tourists can connect to the tourist and heritage sites in Gush Etzion and in other areas throughout Judea and Samaria."
Ne’eman added, “This was the correct decision at the appropriate time, and it is another step towards applying Israeli sovereignty over Judea and removing another barrier which has been harming the rights of the settlement enterprise."
