Member of Knesset Avi Dichter, who initiated the law to deduct money paid by Palestinian Authority to terrorists and their families from tax money transferred by Israel to the PA, said Monday, "My message to the whole world is sharp and clear: My role as an elected official is to stop terror, not to worry about the stability of the Palestinian Authority.
Responding to reports that Israel is concerned about the possibility of a collapse of the PA, which refuses to receive the transfers without the terror money, the chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee added, "The lives of Israeli citizens are more important than [PA Chairman] Abu Mazen's honor."
