President Reuven Rivlin lit a personal candle in his office, ahead of this week's Holocaust Remembrance Day.
The candle was lit as part of a tradition that the Shem VeNer Foundation carries out to perpetuate Holocaust remembrance for future generations, according to which every year, on the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day, a candle in memory of those who perished in the Holocaust will be lit in every home in Israel.
