Minister Gila Gamliel (Likud) eulogized Rabbi Menachem Mendel Taub, the Admor of Kaliv who passed away at the age of 96.
"All of Israel bows its head on the passing of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Taub z"l, the Admor of Kaliv, a 'firebrand plucked from the fire', who dedicated his life, Torah, and hasidus to perpetuate the memory of the Holocaust. We lost today a great leader and a great educator, who was an exemplary figure for us all heroically and personally and nationally, who after he lost his family in the Holocaust and immigrated to Israel, arose and established revered and honored Torah projects and memorials. Grieving those who are gone but not forgotten, may his memory be for a blessing."
