Deputy Defense Minister Rabbi Eli Ben Dahan eulogized the Rebbe of Kaliv who passed away.
"The Rebbe of Kaliv was the example in his life of the rebirth of the Jewish People in its land after the cursed Holocaust that struck the Jewish People about 80 years ago. The Shema prayer that he would read in every public event would shake the heart and soul.
"Zionism, the deep belief in the righteousness of the people of Israel and the vision of redemption, was his guiding light and influenced everyone who ever met or spoke with him, and I was privileged to participate with him in various events with Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, zt"l. May the memory of the righteous and holy be for blessing."
