Chairman Avigdor Liberman of the Yisrael Beytenu Party said, Monday evening that the party will again submit a bill that denies the Supreme Court the authority to intervene in the decisions of the Central Elections Committee.
Liberman noted, "Ofer Cassif, whose candidacy for the Knesset was disqualified by the Central Elections Committee following Yisrael Beytenu's petition, and who was authorized by the Supreme Court to serve as an MK, is continuing his campaign of incitement and slander against the State of Israel. Tonight we heard from him that Israel is like Germany in the beginning of the 30's and that Israel is committing war crimes. We must change the law and prevent the Supreme Court from being able to allow Israel's opponents to compete for the Knesset."
