A man about the age of 50 fell, Monday afternoon and was injured in the Nachal Peres stream bed near the Arava Junction.
Magen David Adom medical teams and the rescue unit who made it to the victim were assisted by a military helicopter that rescued him from the river and evacuated him to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva.
