Chairman Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority repeated, Sunday, his call to adopt the two-state solution for peace with Israel.
Referring to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's recent statement about Israeli sovereignty in Judean and Samarian Jewish communities, Abbas said, "Israel is persisting its settlement policy toward the annexation plan." Referring to recent statements by United States envoys who are developing President Donald Trump's peace plan, he said, "I have met with Trump several times was impressed. He informed me that he is prepared to advance negotiations for a two-state solution, but one of his 'noble aides' told him not to hurry."
