About 80,000 tourists visited Israeli nature reserves and national parks on Sunday.
Among the most prominent sites were the Masada National Park with 3,000 visitors, and Gan Hashelosha (Sakhne in Arabic) and Caesarea with 2,100 each. Among the leading nature reserves were the stalactite cave on the western side of Mt. Ye'ela in the Judean hills, with about 2,100 visitors and Ein Gedi, with about 1,900 tourists.
