National Union Chairman MK Betzalel Smotrich spoke in an interview about the Likud's attempt to thwart the transfer of the justice portfolio to his hands.
"The Likud also didn't like Ayelet Shaked as justice minister. After that, I think they really liked her. I'm convinced that after a few years, when we succeed in making changes in the system, everyone will very much like it. By the way, if I don't take justice, I'll take the education
"It can't be that only on one side of the political map it's fine. If the Meretz people can be education ministers then so can Betzalel Smotrich. I think I'm much closer to the public consensus than they were then."
