The Journalists' Association has attacked the Israel Police following the detention of the two journalists who accompanied the activists of the Hozrim Lahar (Returning to the Mount) movement who were arrested on their way to the Temple Mount for the purpose of making the Passover sacrifice.
A statement by the association also demanded the immediate return of the journalists' equipment, including photographic equipment and memory cards, as well as an apology and compensation "for the offensive and unnecessary detention" and disciplinary action against anyone involved in the decisions to harm the journalists.
