Incoming members of Knesset Yoaz Hendel and Zvi Hauser (Blue-and-White) list, have written to Minister of Public Security Gilad Erdan, requesting that the issue of the fire safety on the Temple Mount be regulated.
They cited Monday's fire on the Temple Mount, started by children playing with flammable materials, at about the time Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris went up in flame due to apparent carelessness by a renovation worker. They noted the flammable structure of the cathedral and said it pointed to the need examine fire safety on the Temple Mount.
