Culture Minister Miri Regev has announced that Dr. Hela Hadas, director of the Enosh Israel Mental Health Association, will light a torch at the state ceremony on the eve of Israel's 71st Independence Day.
The choice was explained as follows: "The association symbolizes, in its life work, the spirit of humanity and equality."
