The management has responded to the demand of the chairman of the workers' committee, Gila Edrei, to apologize for claims against the union by saying, "The sole apology required is only to the passengers, who are suffering for weeks from the harassment of the workers' committee headed by Gila Edrei, who chooses to use pirated and illegal means."
The management statement concluded, "We expect the head of the committee and the Histadrut to stop the pirate stoppages, to remove the organizational steps that harm the passengers, and to return to focused negotiations in good faith."
