Minister of Finance Moshe Kahlon said on Tuesday that he will order the end of funding for the Jaffa Theater, pending the results of an investigation by his ministry's legal advisor into complaints received by Culture Minister Miri Regev that the theater intends to hold an event featuring an activist in the boycott movement against the State of Israel and supporters of Nakba Day, marking the "catastrophe" as hostile Arabs refer to the birth of the modern State of Israel.

Kahlon said, "It is inconceivable that the State of Israel will finance events calling for boycotting it. We will fight the boycott movement in every possible way."
