President Reuven Rivlin told representatives of the Labor Party on Tuesday, "It is important that there be a coalition and opposition, and there is a government that can have a broader government or a unity government."

Rivlin noted "It seems to me that none of the prime ministers, from the first to the present, wants a constitution. We must all unite on this issue, because the constitution is that which stands between the citizen and the government or any system that he thinks is unjust."
