Member of Knesset David Bitan (Likud) told Israel Defense Forces Radio on Tuesday, "It is impossible to include the occupation of Gaza in the coalition agreement. The one who decides this is the prime minister."
Responding to a statement by Yisrael Beytenu Party Chairman Avigdor Liberman, the former coalition chairman said, "Liberman wants more influence if he is defense minister, and that can be given to him."
