Chairman Bezalel Smotrich of the National Union, number two on the United Right list, is scheduled to meet tomorrow with members of the United Torah Judaism Party in Bnei Brak to create a religious-religious bloc in matters of religion and state ahead of coalition negotiations with Likud representatives, and in view of the difficulties that Avigdor Lieberman is expected to play around the military induction law, according to News 12.

It is not clear whether the Shas Party will take part in the meeting. Smotrich told Israeli public radio, Monday evening, "We will demand a significant grasp on the religious services. It is not something that can remain only in the hands of Shas." Shas and UTJ met with President Reuven Rivlin on Monday. The United Right is one of six parties scheduled to meet with Rivlin on Tuesday.
