Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit has vehemently rejected claims made in recent days that the State Prosecutor's Office is liable to create a case against the justice minister if he tries to restrict the steps of the judicial system.
Mandelblit said, "In recent days there have been various publications of non-professional considerations that may, G-d forbid, affect our work, in the context of appointments of various kinds. I would like to make it clear that these publications are baseless. They are bad and harmful. There was no such thing and there will not be anything like it."
