Former Supreme Court justice Eliahu Mazza said on Sunday, "In fact, the people ousted Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked."

Interviewed by Israeli public radio, Mazza added, "It is true that the people gave confidence to the government of Benjamin Netanyahu and his faction, but it also expressed no-confidence in Shaked's agenda." Referring to her attempts at judicial reform, he explained, "The situation as of today is that Ayelet Shaked's agenda has gone bankrupt, apparently the people still want the right-wing government of Likud, but also want a rule of law."
