The Communications Ministry informed Partner of its intention to impose financial sanctions on the corporation in the amount of NIS 1.1 million due to violations of provisions regarding protection of minors from harmful websites and Internet content.
The Communications Ministry noted that in eight transactions out of ten (80%), the agent did not inform the Ministry officer posing as a customer during the transaction regarding offensive sites and offensive content on the Internet and the possibilities of protection against them.
In one of the 10 transactions, the Partner agent did not offer a site filtering program for offensive content (free or not) even after the Ministry "customer" asked him about it. In one transaction, the representative did not know the subject of filtering sites and offending content, but after the supervisor asked him about this, the Partner agent called his supervisor and only then offered to join the advanced fee-only filtering service;
In two transactions, the representatives proposed a filtering program after the "customer" asked them about it. In one transaction, the representative referred the inspectors to the customer service center for the purpose of installing the filtering program and in the second transaction the representative could not provide further details.
