US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman on Friday congratulated Israel for its response to Beresheet's crash-landing.
"Israel, it is said, has no fear of failure," he tweeted. "I saw that in real time last night as #Beresheet crash-landed on the moon. No tears or hand-wringing. Just resilience, efforts to determine what went wrong and a commitment to try again. Kol Hakavod (good for you - ed.) and congrats on an amazing journey!"
