In an interview with Channel 13 former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert called on Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Liberman to help form a national unity goverment, saying:
"Liberman has a historic opportunity to move from the margins, to be a central figure in Israel and to call for a national unity government, and he has the power he has never had to do to place him in a new and different place in the national life of Israel."
