Ecuador has revoked the citizenship of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Earlier, Britain arrested Assange in London. He has been in the Ecuadorian embassy for about seven years, ever since he was charged with sexual assault in Sweden.
He refused to leave the embassy for fear he would be arrested and extradited to the United States for leaking hundreds of thousands of classified documents through WikiLeaks.
