The counting of the “double envelopes” which contain the votes of soldiers in the elections to the Knesset began on Wednesday night and, as of early Thursday morning, it appears that the New Right party, headed by Naftali Bennett and Ayelet Shaked, is close to passing the 3.25 percent electoral threshold.
As of the last update, which was published shortly before 5:00 a.m., after close to 140,000 votes were counted, the New Right won 3.23 percent.
