Knesset Member Bezalel Smotrich said on Tuesday that he was contacted by the Knesset security officer last night due to a letter of threats and incitement. The security officer announced that it had been decided to reinforce security around Smotrich's family.
This morning, a police car arrived and searched the house and its surroundings and accompanied Smotrich to the polling place. Now the guard around his house is being stepped up. Samotrich himself does not have a security guard right next to him.
