The official value of the shekel rose an average of .222 percent on Monday against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.
The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.58, down .195 percent, while the Euro slipped .052 percent to 4.0255 shekels and the pound sterling was set at 4.6709 shekels, down .554 percent.
