Due to price increases, the Ministry of Agriculture, in coordination with representatives of the farmers and the Plant Council, has recently opened duty-free import quotas for tomatoes and cucumbers.
The wholesale price of a kilogram of tomatoes has reached 6.90 shekels and the price of cucumbers has reached NIS 5.90.
