The police decided at the last minute to ask for a detention extension for the suspect in the death of Yasmin Raz of Holon, who fell to her death in Holon in January.
Earlier it was reported that the police would agree to release him to house arrest. Following his arrest on Sunday, Haaretz reported the suspect had been twice declared unfit to stand trial for previous crimes, including an assault.
