A Tel Aviv truck driver was arrested on suspicion of stealing goods from random trucks he passed on his way and ended up selling in stores. This morning the police will ask to extend his remand in court.
Following a complaint received yesterday by police from a truck driver of a beverage company, that while he distributed merchandise to shops in Jaffa's flea market, thousands of shekels worth of drinks were stolen from his truck.
Police investigators began a lengthy investigation, and within a short time they managed to locate the 36-year-old Ramle suspect while he was traveling in the truck, after police investigators located the stolen goods in a liquor store.
The suspect was brought for questioning by the police after which he was jailed. On Wednesday morning, the police will ask to extend his remand in court.
