Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a prominent Hamas leader in Judea and Samaria, was arrested at his home in the Jerusalem-area Palestinian Authority village of Bituniya early on Tuesday morning.

Yousef has been arrested before for incitement to terrorism. He has disowned his son, Musab Yousef, who has moved to the United States and converted to Christianity, helped the Shin Bet thwart attacks against Israelis from 1997 to 2007.
