Deputy Director Ashager Araro of the StandWithUS Israel Fellowship wrote on Twitter, Monday, "Being here in South Africa and seeing with my own eyes how the BDS movement is culturally appropriating the tragic and horrific history of black South Africans is absolutely insulting! Let's take a stand against their shameful actions."
The Ethiopian-Israeli writer also said, "Calling Israel an apartheid state is abusing and using the tragic history of black people in South Africa. The BDS movement is stealing their narrative to promote their own agenda and politics." She concluded, "Zionism has no color, gender or religion. Zionism is the national liberation movement for the Jewish people to return home."
