According to the first exit poll released on Sunday evening, Jewish comedian Volodymyr Zelensky has won the first round of the Ukraine presidential election with 30.4% of the vote.
Incumbent Petro Poroshenko is second with 17.8% of the vote. With no candidate expecting more than 50 percent of the vote, a second round of voting is expected.
